And when you purchase from us, have us handle installation, and agree to a three-year service plan (which includes a yearly cleaning and inspection), you can count on us to provide a three-year, no-questions-asked, parts and labor warranty. That means, should something go wrong in those first three years, we’ll take care of it! About Our Owner & Founder
Champs Chimney Service was founded in 2001 by Robert Faughnan, who named the company after his dad, Joe “Champ” Faughnan. Joe played for the Far Rockaway Seahorses and delivered a strong knuckleball. He later received a personal invitation from the New York Yankees’ legendary talent evaluator, Paul Krichell, to try out for the majors. Joe Faughnan was also a brave, talented, and committed fireman with the New York Fire Department (NYFD) for 27 years.
Today, Robert Faughnan carries on his father’s legacy and passion for protecting NY’s residents against the threat of fire by providing phenomenal service to his highly valued customers. In his free time, Robert enjoys relaxing with his loyal and loving dog, Leo.
