About Us
Champs Chimney was started by Bob Faughnan to honor his late father, Joe, who was an incredible knuckleball pitcher the local reporters called “Champ.” Later in life, Champ became a New York City Fire Lieutenant who served and protected his community. Champ passed away in the line of duty in 1987, and Bob carries on his legacy by protecting his customers from the dangers of fire through his work at Champs Chimney.

"The guys at Champs are great! I had a wood stove insert installed last year and was happy with it. I used Champs again this year to put in a freestanding wood stove (in another room in our house). The installation this year was a very involved job that took more labor than we initially thought, but the guys worked efficiently and the end product is lovely.
