What exactly is HeatShield?

Proven to stand up to moisture, corrosive combustion gases, and extremely high temperatures, HeatShield is a patented combination of ceramic and refractory coatings that is compatible with all fuel types. This product is available in three different systems that can repair damaged and deteriorated clay tile liners. Each system is applied with specialized tools by chimney professionals who are trained and authorized by the manufacturer. Video cameras are also used to verify every repair so that you receive a limited lifetime warranty.

What are the three different systems of HeatShield?

The first step when restoring your chimney liner with HeatShield is an inspection. This is when our professionals assess the level of damage in your system. If we find that only the mortar joints need repair, we will use the Joint Repair System to fill in all of the cracks and gaps to reinforce the joints. When we find damage to the tiles and the mortar joints, we will use the Resurfacing System to restore your chimney. If your clay tile liner has suffered damage beyond repair or if your chimney is unlined, we can install a new liner with the CeCure Sleeve Relining System.
